  • Another rebuild!

    Some years passed, so it’s time to update the ol’ website. How does the software engineer do that? Correct, he starts with rebuilding how the develops and publishes the whole thing, because it pissed him off.

    This blog is now running on Jekyll 4 and Minima 3, and it’s all built in a Dev Container. My hope is this will make it easier to keep it updated and not result in another furious rebuild.

    This, of course, means, that for you, nothing really changed visually, this is all for me. I did update the content on the page thought, so maybe go enjoy that.

  • Review: Avatar - Hunter Gatherer

    I have never written a public review of anything, except for a few short recommendations on Steam. But, the new album Hunter Gatherer by Avatar is so good, I feel compelled to tell the world about it. While I am a musician and consider myself relatively knowledgeable on all things Metal, I haven’t got any experience writing reviews or expressing my thoughts about music in a way that makes sense to other people and is enjoyable to read. Just … consider yourself warned, this is an experiment.

    I have rebuilt the old hand-built website with Jekyll.

    Took some time to learn, but this is really cool stuff. Default theme for now, had to spend enough time to get it working like this.

    I noticed the information on this page is already out of date, but I just migrated 1:1 for now.
