Wanted to do another one of these for a few months, now I have a endless list of videos and have forgotten about most of them again. The mess takes hold.

Can you beat FREELANCER with only the STARFLIER? by N0mad

Freelancer mentioned!!!

Man, this is one of those games that has its hooks deeeeep in my brain. I can go around, not thinking of it for months or years, and then, when it appears again, I just feel home again, you know?

Video is a fun little challenge, and props to N0mad for making his apparently first voiced video such an entertaining blast from the past. Immediate sub, and he’s already put out another one.

The Sirens of Titan: ⬤ by Oliver Lugg

Oliver Lugg is such a great artist, so I was sad to hear that he’s taking a break from / quitting YouTube, but what an excellent video to go out on. I don’t really want to talk about the content of the video too much, but go watch it if you care about humanity and our art, AI, or Kurt Vonnegut.

Locations in Horror Games by MINMONIMO

I’m such a sucker for these explorations of horror games. Probably, because I’m a wuss and will never play them myself. This video focuses on the places these games take place in. Good fun.

Void Stranger : A Game for Lunatics by Super Eyepatch Wolf

Another Super Eyepatch Wolf video, another crazy ass game. No spoilers for this one as well, but lemme tell you, that game GOES places.

Jeffiot and J&V: SCP Archives

Surprised I haven’t talked about these yet. Jeffiot has quickly become one of my favorite YouTube creators, and his work with V (whose full name escapes me and is surprisingly hard to find written down) recording SCP stuff is great as well. Check out his videos no one knows who created skull trumpet (until now) and The Story Behind This Perfectly Normal Photo, which are excellent and really moved me. Giving credit to people that have created art that touched so many people, but remain (or rather, remained) mostly unknown, is such a cool thing to do.

If you are into SCP stuff, check out any of the videos on their channel that seem interesting to you. If you are not interested in SCP stuff, go to their channel anyway and check out There is no Antimemetics Division. Incredible, mind-bending story, told wonderfully. I’m waiting for the re-release of the book to get my own copy.

World of Ren Vintage Story by RubixRaptor & Friends

I’ve been obsessed with Vintage Story for a while now. The simple (way too simple, honestly) way to describe it is hardcore Minecraft. This video series is from a huge multiplayer server with loads of mods and a custom map, which is incredibly cool to me. Their humour is probably not for everyone, but this has been great fun to me. If you enjoy it as well, there are also the uncut livestreams that these videos have been made of. That’s something like 130 hours of content for when you REEEAAALLY need to fill some time.
